The VFDs that are tailored for wastewater pumping.
Regulating pump speed is not easy: to ensure problem-free pumping you need to pay special attention to flow and head. In co-operation with ABB, ITT Flygt has developed a range of VFDs which, with their unique Flygt software are specifically tailored for wastewater pumps.
Using a standard VFD usually means a derating of your pumps. But with the ACS550, you can expect all the advantages of speed regulations, plus top pumping efficiency.
The advantages of using VFDs:
| Boot system reliability – reduce stresses on electrical and hydraulic systems | | | | | Improve process control – match flow and head to system requirements | | | | | Gain greater flexibility – optimise dimensioning of new and retrofit installations | | | | | Save energy – adjust pump speed to system demand

FCP200 electronic control panel
Pump monitoring equipment with key functions.
When looking for a modern electronic control panel, high quality is essential. The all-electronic FCP200 is a single compartment control panel that runs one or two Flygt pumps. The FCP200 provides basic features such as a stop and start, alternating of pumps and overload protection. But this also offers an audio alarm with an extra contact that could be used for a remote alarm signal. Alarms are specified directly on the display, the display also shows voltage, pump current, number of starts and running hours. FCP200 is available in two different versions. Version A provides a basic unit with all the standard features. Version B adds earth leakage protection for each pump.
