Mission Statement
ITT Water and Wastewater is committed to protecting the environment, safety and health of our employees and customers and the communities where we operate.
Our goals are to provide products and services that are safe and environmentally sound throughout their life cycles, conduct our operations in an environmentally responsible manner, and create health and safety practices and work environments that enable ITT Water and Wastewater employees to work injury-free.
To accomplish this, we will:
• Meet or exceed all relevant legal requirements;
• We will assess our environmental, safety and health performance by monitoring ongoing performance outcome and through periodic management reviews;
• Proactively reduce occupational injury and illness risks, and promote employee health and well-being;
• Aggressively pursue pollution prevention, energy conservation and waste reduction in our operations;
• Design, manage and operate our facilities to maximize safety.
• Require our suppliers to conduct their operations in a socially and environmentally responsible manner
We will achieve this high level of performance by integrating these objectives into our business planning.
Each employee has an individual responsibility to understand and support this initiative and to actively participate in programs to ensure our goals are achieved.
We believe our company must work with all our stakeholders including employees, suppliers, partners, governmental, nongovernmental and community organizations to protect and enhance environmental, health and safety.
