ITT Water and Wastewater is a subsidiary of the Swedish Company Flygt AB which is in turn a subsidiary of ITT Corporation.
Being a Swedish Company, ITT Water and Wastewater has a very long history in social responsibility and sustainability and was openly supportive of the struggle against Apartheid. This approach, philosophy and vision is now reflected in their document associated with the Millennium Development goals as set out by the United Nations.
Being a part of this global organization, our goal at ITT Water and Wastewater , is to extend the views, visions and beliefs of our Swedish head office to provide a resource to government and municipal support structures within the scope of our operation.
Our objective is to create a resource base using the skills available to us both locally and internationally, which may be used by government structures to assist with the assessment of existing water and wastewater infrastructure and to provide suggestions and advice on how to accelerate service delivery in these sectors where it is needed most.
The following is an outline of our intention and abilities:
